Haitham Afifi is the e& enterprise Chief Financial Officer with more than 22 years of experience leading financial operations in the telecommunications, technology and banking sectors. With a wealth of regional experience and a global view, Haitham plays an essential part in steering the company’s financial strategy, performance and long-term value creation.

An e& Group long-standing employee, Haitham has worked in senior roles within financial planning, controlling and transformation throughout the years. He has built a reputation for connecting the dots between where you want to spend money and what you need to do with respect to strategic direction, driving operational performance within high-growth portfolio of digital and enterprise businesses.

In his capacity as an officer, Haitham is a board member on e& enterprise, Help AG, Etisalat Technology Services and Etisalat Digital KSA, along with Careem, providing strategic and financial oversight across innovation-led companies in the region.

In the early stages of his career, Haitham served in a number of finance positions at Orascom Telecom, Bank Audi, LEONI and UNIPAK – INDEVCO Group, where he gained extensive international exposure from reporting, control and investment planning aspects.

He is an MBA graduate from the University of Manchester, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA/ACMA), and has attended executive education from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and London Business School. He also has a bachelor’s degree from Ain Shams University.
